Garden fail-

So, they say it is good to confess.  So here goes.

I had illusions of having a breath taking garden.  Actually I hardly have 

room to grow weeds!

Although I moved this bulb and it actually grew and bloomed.

Back to the confession.

I purchased a bunch if bulbs, from a school fund raiser.

Remember I had this dream of a lush, garden.

The bulbs arrived, I googled what they were and how to plant them. I made notes, and marked them.  walked my garden space looking for just the right spot!

Planting day came this morning. I dug up the dirt,

scattered the bulbs!😕

That's it!

CAT LADY

 Meet Drusilla

Dog person turned 'cat lady'.

After I lost our sweet, dog Joker, actually my sisters dog. but left in our care.

I thought maybe a trip to the Human society, to check

out puppies and see what they had.

Might as well check out the cat room, while there.

That is where I met Drusilla.

She was a volunteer, release, meaning her owners no longer wanted her.

So, she came home with me!

She really, likes boxes

Even boxes that still have the good in them.

When, she has explored all the boxes, she likes to hang out and discus

what's for dinner and other important events of her day.

A decision I am glad to have made. 

The hills come alive

One thing you can count on in the spring, is the hills coming alive.  Arrow-leaf balsam root, covers the hills.  

These plants were a food source for the native Indians, with every part of the plant being edible.

Nothing like being able to enjoy Gods garden.   As you can see, God is a very good gardener.

      

To begin again

 I stopped writing in the fall, so the spring seems a perfect time to get back at it.

Nothing earth shaking to write about but I do know it is time for me to write again, and that is pretty much all I know right now.

I am just going to relax and see where the Lord takes me.  That in itself, will be a new adventure for me.  I turn over control and quickly take it back.  So, let me say, I am doing my best to just let go.

Fall

In the spring, since we were having covid time, I did not plant my spring and summer flowers.

Instead, I waited for fall blooms, thinking that would be the time we would most want the garden to bloom.

So far:
