MAY DAY

May Day flowers

April showers bring May flowers.

The one day of the year that always stands out for me, is May day.
My aunt was really big on gardens and flowers, a trait my sister got more then I did.
But Aunt Elsie, always had me take a basket of flowers to our neighbors and put it on her porch and ring the bell.  Of coarse we were to hide, so the flowers were a special gift.

I loved doing that!
Does anyone still do that?

Well, I didn't get a basket of flowers ready for you but here is a picture of my wild roses.

They grew from a start that I got
from roses on the side of the road.

A favorite red rose

Hoping May brings us all many blessings

CARTER UPDATE

Many have asked about Carter.

I have not been doing much writing so indeed it is time to get back to it.

Mommie Jennifer says

"Carter is doing well. Might be able to start reducing his medication soon.
The doctors want hm to be seizure free
for one year"

On facebook she posted a picture
of what chiari looks like
 to better explain it:
It has helped me understand.

Carter is a super brave little boy.

Jennifer  has her hands full.

BLESSED

Is it hard for you to feel blessed? or is this the time you are feeling super blessed?

I am on a teeter tauter
some days I count my blessing and other days
I can not find much to be thankful for.
The big reason to get back to writing,
if the doctor thinks it will be a good thing, then I am willing to try.

Welcome to Paradise

Back to crafting

 Inspired!

I was directed to a fun Chanel on you tube and it has really been so much fun.

Olivia's romantic home

She shares her talent for making happy, pretties using mainly things she already has, or purchased from the dollar store.
How fun is that!!

I defiantly want to do something yellow
I might see if I can copy her and add some yellow to my dining room.

I hope you look her up on you tube, and also Instagram, where she shares her good mornings.

SPRING!

Cherry Blossoms

So much has changed.  Spring was always welcomed into the valley with the Apple Blossom Parade and two weeks of activities.

This year, will be no parade.

I have always thought I could handle things pretty well. I think for the most part I have, but I am not handling this.

So, the Doctor said, " I want you to keep a journal"  to which I replied, "Well, I started a blog once"  She said "That will do, but you have to write everyday"

I am sure I will not write everyday.  I will write and I will try to stay positive. I have been following and not commenting on all my favorite blogs and I am sorry.  I will do better.

I don't want to be Debbie Downer, here, so will try everyday to count my blessing. You know you are part of those blessing.

The Kitchen Lights

Now for the kitchen

The new light were installed the same day
as the dining lights and
boy do I love them.

Don't look at my mess on the counter.
concentrate on the light!
Really hard to get a picture of the ceiling!

They are the nickel finish flush mount.

No bulbs!  this is so new to me, but others are
already using these fixtures.

I can say, I love them.  the no bulbs is a huge
factor!  The best part is the light!
Very bright light, very easy on the eyes.
As it is also a very soft light.
I do love them!

Again-do not judge me about the counters!
